The Modern Journey Wrap

Welcome this gorgeous yet simple modern crochet wrap. This modern journey wrap comes with clean lines and a modern color palate.

This crochet pattern is labeled as easy. It only uses three skeins of yarn in three different colors.

You can pair this wrap in any weather to keep you looking cool and stylish.

The design

I wanted to design my next piece to reflect my style. I also believe that crochet pieces can be made in any style. Sharing this crochet design I wanted to incorporate a modern color palate. With in that color palate I wanted to add a modern color theme which being an ombre color effect. I chose these three colors to use which are white, putty and true grey from Loops and Treads Impeccable yarns.

By choosing three colors it makes the transitions of color flow. I love designing and decorating in groups of three.

With this modern journey wrap I kept the lines long, clean and straight to keep with the modern theme. I love that with this long rectangle shape you can wear this wrap several ways. The straight lines let you keep the wrap simple as you wrap it around yourself.

Who is this pattern for

This pattern is designed for the beginning crochetier. It is an easy pattern with the only slightly more advance technique being is to change the color of yarn with in the project. Changing yarn colors is fairly easy to master and doesn’t take that much time to do.

Also, this pattern is a simple repeat which works quickly. I enjoy these types of patterns because they don’t take much thought and you can simply enjoy the art of crocheting.
