Pattern
Chain uneven number of chains
Row 1: Third chain from hook, *single crochet, chain one, single crochet in same chain space. Skip next chain. Single crochet, chain one, single crochet in next chain space.* Repeat * to end. At end of row, skip one chain, single crochet in last chain. Chain three, turn.
Row2: In first chain space, single crochet, chain one, single crochet in same chain space. *Skip two chains. In next chain space, single crochet, chain one, single crochet in same chain space* Repeat * to end. At the end, single crochet in last chain. Chain three, turn.
Repeat row 2 until you reach your desired length.

Make slip stitch
Chain 13
In third chain from hook, single crochet, chain one, single crochet in same chain space.
Skip one chain and then single crochet, chain one, single crochet in same chain space.
Repeat to the end. Single crochet in last chain.
Chain three and turn.
In first chain space,
single crochet, chain one, single crochet.
Skip two chains,
Single crochet, chain one, single crochet in chain space.
Repeat to end. Single crochet in last chain.
Chain three and turn. Repeat steps above until you reach the desired length.
